- Only 8% of DVR owners say it is the greatest benefit of having a DVR
DVR penetration data shows that penetration has hit 1 in 5 households according to a just fielded 1500 household study by Leichtman research and reported by the Center for Media Research.
Leichtman predicts that 60 million households will have DVRs by 2011. It is interesting to note that 95% of all viewing is still from live TV.
